The East West tote might sound like something out of a movie — the bag an adventurer would take to travel the trails and walk the wilderness, or the carryall an archaeologist would pack to investigate a legend about some ancient treasure. In reality, the name just refers to the bag's proportions. An East West tote is wider than it is tall. This gives it a different set of proportions from our classic tote, which you could probably call a North South tote, for consistency's sake.
